The rarest variety of the 1820 sovereign - The Roman I No price given in Spink standard catalogue and rated as extremely rare. This coin being the finest known, with no others graded by NGC or PCGS. I am only aware of a total four examples in existence. With no example present in the Bentley collection. A lower grade example can be seen in "The Gold Sovereign" by M. A. Marsh. Proof-like and practically uncirculated.
